Pimples
seem to arrive at the worst time; so arm yourself with a few makeup tips to
keep those ugly blemishes hidden. Check out this list of tips to conceal blemishes.
Hit the freezer
Grab some ice and hold it on your pimple for a few minutes.
The cooling sensation will help the swelling go down.
Apply acne treatment
Pick up a small tube of spot treatment and apply a tiny amount after you've iced the spot. This will
help diminish the pimple over time. Let the cream dry before moving on to the
next step.
Time to conceal
If you want to hide a blemish, applying your normal foundation
won't be enough. You'll need to apply a concealer. There are all kinds of
concealers out there, but many people prefer the stick concealer to cover
pimples. Liquid concealers tend to fade and sink into the pimple, making it
look worse. Using your stick concealer, apply a healthy coat to the pimple and
the surrounding area. Blend it in with a makeup brush.
Seal it with powder
You'll want to apply a coat of powder over the concealer
to seal it. Now that the pimple is hidden, you can go about your normal makeup
routine.
Prevent future pimples
Cheap cosmetics can aggravate breakouts. Take care of
